Mothercare MyHi Highchair Review

There are so many highchairs about at the moment, it's so hard to pick one! I knew I didn't want one of the padded ones because it would be a pain to clean so I wanted something sleek and simple. I searched and searched and looked at loads of different ones. Lots of people recommended the stokke Tripp trapp and I must admit. It looks fabulous but had a big price tag. I also fancied one of the cosatto ones as they are look so cool and brightly coloured. But again, the price just isn't worth it.

I wasn't too bothered about having an expensive one, after all they just smear food all over right!?

In the end I went back to mothercare, I love mothercare.

Initially I liked the mothercare Apple one, but it's padded and i didn't want to faff about cleaning it constantly and then I came across the MyHi- I like the design, very simple, a big tray and easy to clean. It retails at £19-99 which is a massive bonus. It comes in four colours too; blueberry, grapefruit, lime& grape so perfect for a boy or a girl.

It's a very study highchair and I can't pick any faults with it. Maybe some people would would find the chair part slippery however there is a crotch bar so they don't slip out and has a five-point harness so your little one is strapped in and very safe. The highchair is recommended from6 months+ so at that age your baby will be able to sit in the highchair no problems.. If you think this would be a problem for your little one you can buy a padded cushion for the highchair for £14-99.

The highchair is so easy to put together, the legs just click into the chair, no screws or tools. Just click in and it's up.

Overall I'm very impressed, and it's not expensive but it does it's job. I would much rather spend more money on something else for Alfie than spending £100's on a highchair that will be covered in food.

And Alfie is very happy in his new highchair.

  1. I'm like you I don't understand paying a couple of hundred for one that has a pretty pattern. People forget how quickly they grow out of things lol

  3. This looks great! I had a padded fabric nightmare with Ben that was ruined by the time it came to Chloe needing it!
I'm going to bear this one in mind for Amy if we find we need another one!
